Just a quick post to make sure that everyone knows that the electroclash legends Fischerspooner are playing at the Beck's Rumpus Room on October 16 as part of the Melbourne International Arts Festival.
If you weren't aware, Fischerspooner are Warren Fischer and Casey Spooner, who started Fischerspooner as a performance art piece about entertainment and turned into one of the most successful of maybe ten successful electroclash groups. They released their new album, Entertainment, in May this year. Tickets are only twenty bucks because the organisers are bourgeois
Peaches also released her new album I Feel Cream in May this year and is going to be doing a DJ set at Roxanne on 19 September. Unfortunately this one is sold out so you'll only be able to get tix from opportunistic capitalists here.
